Hello all!

First of all I want to talk to you about my previous journal entry, as I said its time to say goodbye - but what I didn't mention is that I'm not going anywhere! DA is a special place for me and I will never leave here, you all make me happy to use DA and I love to take photographs!

The reason I said its time to say goodbye is for my current camera the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ5 because as from today I will no longer be using it for the majority of my photos on DA.

I plucked up the courage this morning to travel through terrible, rainy weather to London's Oxford Street to buy myself a DSLR. Yes, that's right - I NOW OWN A DSLR!!!! Which model you ask? I managed to get a fantastic deal on the Canon EOS 450D so I bought it along with a UV filter and a new 2GB SD card - my parents are going to be buying me a macro lens for my birthday in a few weeks time but for now the 450D is still awesome enough for macros.

I want to apologise if I scared any of you with my previous journal, but I aint goin' anywhere!! I promise I will NEVER make another journal like my previous one again, my plan was to just confuse you all, not to entice people to read my journals - but I have learn't my lesson and I promise to never do this again!
