When I was strolling around Richmond park with my friend Elisabeth, we saw these three old women staring at the water and not saying a word, we kept an eye on them for about 10 minutes and none of made a sound or even moved. Having life fly by without a care in the world makes me happy, but sometimes it's also sad :D

This is a fabulous shot Dan, the contrast is really nice and I like how central they are to the picture. I also would say that the symmetry in the colours they are wearing (light/dark/light) is really nice and balances the shot.

The only thing that bothers me slightly is the amount of sky and ground. I think it would be more effective if there had been a bit more of one or the other. For me personally I would have included a fraction more sky especially since it would emphasise the mood of the photo.

Hopefully that seems like a fair critique, although maybe it's merely a personal preference :) who am I to question your shots, you're the Gallery Moderator =P
